I take topamax 50mg 1-2 xs a day (to help prevent the frequency of attacks)been on the med.for about 2-3yrs.is there any thing you can do for me that can give me back my life?I feel awful well beyond 40.I don’t drink or smoke.Eat healthy,stuff I shouldn’t in moderation(I’m 5′ 6″ 140 I was 132- 135 until the weight gain)Any advice comments would be appreciated would b-12shots help?&how often would I need them?All the info. you can give me on anything please!!!!thank you. Hi Michelle, thank you for your recent inquiry. To answer your questions, I frequently treat many woman w/your complaints. I generally do ask for bloodwork prior to administering any therapies, whether that be bio-identical therapies or diet/vitamin supplementation. B-vitamins would definitely be helpful in relief of some of your symptoms, especially the migraines that you’ve been suffering with. I would start with once a week for a few weeks and then taper down. It’s important to monitor your diet as well, making sure that the foods you’re eating are providing vital nutrients, not depleting them or causing inflammation.
